At a minimum, the annual program assessment plans must include the following:
Program’s mission statement
Program student learning outcomes
Program process outcomes
Assigned core competency to be assessed
Measures used to assess outcomes and core competencies
APR Action plans
The program mission statement should define what’s most important; it is a concise statement expressing values and principles that guide the curriculum. The mission statement sets the general tone for determining program student learning outcomes and should support and complement the mission statements of both GTC and the Academic Affairs. The mission statement should identify the program’s stakeholders.
