GTC Support

Greenville Technical College offers many support services and resources you need to succeed at www.gvltec.edu/student_resources and www.gvltec.edu/student_resources/current-studentsQuick access to essential "Student Resources" can be found in the GTC website top menu with additional resources also available in Resources4me.

Students can request assistance for admissions, enrollment, advising, tutoring, and many other support services. The GTC Call Center is also available at 1-864-250-8000 to assist with a variety of questions and needs. 

GTC Technical Support is available to assist with accounts and logins, GTC4me, Blackboard, Gmail, and more.

The STAR Center also provides additional assistance and resources such as the Caring Corner food pantry and other basic needs and student success help.

Academic Coaching & Tutoring

Need help with an assignment, class, or your student success? GTC Academic Coaching & Tutoring offers free math, writing, and subject tutoring as well as guidance to develop strategies and skills to solve your academic challenges! Their website provides information on how to make an appointment and how to use the Brainfuse online tutoring tool in your Blackboard courses. 

Libraries

GTC Libraries provide many resources, services, and spaces to help you succeed in all your courses!

Get started with their subject-specific Research Guides to learn how to search collections, find credible information in databases, and create assignment citations. You can also attend "Intro to the Library" and other workshops and events.

If you need help, visit https://askus.library.gvltec.edu to view their FAQ and contact them via email, text, phone, or 24/7 chat service with video conferencing available Monday-Thursday 7:30am-6:00pm and Friday 8:00am-1:00pm. You can also request an online or in-person Research Help Appointment.

GTC Libraries also offer skill building resources for general education courses, college entrance and professional license exam practice, and technology collection items like chargers, headsets, calculators, and cameras.

Computer Labs

Student Computer Labs
GTC operates several computer labs that are open to any student. Lab locations, hours, employee directories, and additional information are available at gvltec.edu/student_resources/computer_labs.index.html.

Department Computers and Labs
Depending on your academic major or the courses you are taking, you may have access to additional department computers and labs. Ask your instructors about hardware and software access that may help you with your specific area of study.

Library Computers and Technology
GTC Libraries offer computers with internet access at their Barton, Benson, Brashier, and Northwest locations. Headsets with microphones and webcams can also be checked out from the Barton Library service desk.
