Blackboard is a Learning Management System used by Greenville Technical College to deliver course material and/or content for online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses. The information contained in each course will likely consist of announcements, learning modules, a syllabus, instructor information, an option to send emails, an assignment drop box, a testing folder, and a discussion board.
Blackboard is accessed through GTC4me; it is recommended that you use Google Chrome (not Internet Explorer) as your browser.

*Internet Explorer 8 is tested in Standards Mode. Some known issues can be resolved by using Compatibility Mode (emulates IE7 behavior).
Blackboard Learn requires the latest version of Sun JRE 6. The JRE can be downloaded from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp.

Respondus LockDown Browser locks down the testing environment within GTC Blackboard. Students cannot print, copy, visit other websites, or access other applications during online tests.
