Collection Development

Through the following activities, academic departments and individual faculty can partner with librarians to ensure a relevant collection:

  • Stay abreast of available library resources
  • Submit requests to purchase new materials
  • Participate in the library's weeding process
  • Exchange helpful reviews and product information
  • Participate in trials of electronic library resources
  • Share course syllabi
  • Communicate regularly through meetings and library visits
