SoftChalk Lesson Builder

• SoftChalk is an easy tool that you can use to engage your students.
• Create interactive content in minutes that address key content points, like learning games, flashcards, image labeling, hotspot activities, matching games, crosswords, and more.
• Use short quizzes to check for understanding, such as multiple choice, multiple answer, and matching.
• Insert pop-up text annotations to define terminology and enhance the interactivity of your content.
• Use SoftChalk to go beyond the content- create your own interactive electronic textbook that links out to related Web content, illustrates topics, and demonstrates concepts.

You can access additional resources from the Help menu in SoftChalk Create or from the Support Center.

Steps to create a SoftChalk Account: 

1. Navigate to:  https://softchalkcloud.com/
2. Click on the drop down link for Account Type and select SoftChalk Cloud (I have an activation key)
3. Copy and paste the current activation key into the Activation Key box: KH5ZCszFhi9EaykQRdet
4. Type in your email account (Use your GTC Gmail account because you are using an institutional account) 
   1. username@my.gvltec.edu
5. Continue filling out the form.
6. Choose "I agree to the Terms of Use" and "I agree to the Developers Agreement."
7. Click on Join button to finish.

You will have 2 GB of storage in SoftChalk once you have you account setup.

Steps to install SoftChalk Create v11

These steps are for your personal computer.

To have SoftChalk Create installed on your GTC-issued laptop, submit an OIT Ticket. 

1. Click the appropriate link below:
