Stylized collage of African American astronaut Mae Jemison

"Limitless", by Shekinah Sanchez

Mae Jemison was the first black woman to go to space. She is a multifaceted person as she is a doctor, engineer, and astronaut, but also a skilled dancer. She loves photography, foreign languages, and theater! Her philosophy is focused on not limiting oneself. This holds true to her as she did not limit her interests or career pursuits and just did what made her feel happily fulfilled.
