Math is the language of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
According to ABET
The Engineering Technology programs must develop the ability of students to apply mathematics to the solution of technical problems.
The Associate degree programs will, at a minimum, include Algebra and Trigonometry at a level appropriate to the student learning outcomes and program educational objectives.
In the AAS.EDT program - the foundation of every technical course is based upon the use of math to this standard.
