The TEACH Act of 2002 (Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization Act) provides guidelines for using copyrighted material in distance education by amending sections 110(2) and 112 of the Copyright Act to provide allowances and limitations of U.S. Copyright Law for digital formats and delivery. It applies only to accredited, non-profit educational institutions and requires the cooperation of the college's administration, technical staff and faculty. GTC faculty, staff, and students do not have permission to copy or distribute inclusive access materials provided by the Bookstore. Publisher and vendor agreements only allow digital access by individuals that have purchased the content.
