“To forget how to dig the earth and to tend the soil is to forget ourselves.” Gandhi
Our mission is to collectively serve the GTC community with vegetables, fruit and flowers. We envision staff, faculty, and students involved in planning, planting, weeding, watering, harvesting, preserving and eating our produce.
If you wish to participate in the garden, please print and fill out the GTC Waiver of Liability and Hold Harmless Agreement and bring it to a meeting or contact Crystal Anthony, President of GTC Urban Farmers Email:email@example.com
To raise funds for upcoming projects we are having a Plant Sale! We'll have a variety of veggie and flower seedlings (all grown using 100% organic, open-pollinated, non-GMO seed) to help you get your garden off to a great start.
Please include how many of each plant you'd like on the pre-order form below to reserve your plants for pickup on April 21st, 1:00-5:00pm, in the Barton Campus Student Center, then email completed forms to: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will calculate your total cost and take payment (cash only please) when you come to pick up your seedlings on April 21st.
All pre-order forms must be received by February 5th.
We also need volunteers to help plan, promote, and run the sale event. Please let us know if you're interested in helping out (and getting some free plants as a token of our gratitude!).
